The Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Monday, August 11, at O'Berry Computer Services.

According to Sheriff Benny Deloach, on August 20, Appling County Deputies arrested Mitchell Smith, age 51, of Baxley.
